EVEREST IN JULY 2013

Hi,

Today, I am,
in front of my MacBookPro
to talk to you about my anxiety...
Yes, I am... anxious.
My oldest daughter, Alice (here with her little brother)

is climbing Everest in July
from Katmandu - Lukla airport 2 800 m to
(base Camp and after 5 800 m) !

I know, it is a fantastic experience, and such a nice way to do it.
Walking for a Charity called "Childreach International".
She raised £ 1 600 +
http://www.childreach.org.uk

Childreach International are a UK registered grass roots charity. We work in partnership with local communities in the developing world to help improve children’s access to health, education and child’s rights and protection, to help them unlock their full potential in life. We currently have projects in India, Nepal, Pakistan, Tanzania, Occupied Palestinian Territories, Cambodia, Peru, China and Bangladesh with more than 300,000 beneficiaries to date.
We believe that all children have the right to:
  •   Enough food, clean water and shelter
  •   A good education
  •   A reliable health service
  •   A right to live in a loving environment without fear of abuse or violence
We aim to help as many children as we can through sustainable funding, obtained with the help of people like you. As a charity, we believe that if you dedicate your time, energy and enthusiasm towards our cause then we should give you something life changing and memorable in return and this is where our ‘Challenge Events’ fit in!
Alice is 20 years old !
Perfect time, before getting in the work life or become a Mum !
I know,  and I helped her, as much as I can, to be part of this project.
Nevertheless,
it is a long and difficult trip.
Everything, at every stage can happen.
What do you think ?
Should I be more relaxed ?
Do you know or have you ever experienced that ?

Any comment who could reassure me will be very welcomed.

WARM INTERIOR ATMOSPHERE ( Photos from Sarah HOGAN).

Shades of gold, terra-cotta, grey and white materials
give a warm atmosphere to these rooms.
I like the way Sarah Hogan
framed her photos to give stronger effects to the furniture,
or accessories.
Well done Sarah
I like it so much.
And you ? What do you think ? Do you like it ?
Have a lovely evening !

IDEE DECO INTERIEUR - INTERIOR DESIGN IDEAS

Good afternoon,

Between a lemon cake in the oven
and the arrival of the young man from school,
I decided to share ONE photo I highlighted
from the net "belles maisons".
I liked everything in this room :
wood - alcoves - chairs - light

Ambiance Chalet !
Ah ... the cake is ready .... I must go.
Enjoy the lovely sunny day.
Love

BE COMPLETELY INSPIRED BY "SHARE"

Hi everybody,

Very difficult to be present on my Blog as much as I would.
"May " has been very busy ... and very demanding
and "June" is, for me, the busiest month of the year
with December.
Anyway, when I discovered
that book below, I fell very very very privileged
and decided to not complain ever, about my agenda anymore !
Here is a book of cooking ...
"A cookbook that celebrates our common humanity"
By Women for Women International
who is bringing positive change to women
in countries where war and conflict has devastated lives and communities.
It is a beautiful, well presented with photos of people living in
Afghanistan, Iraq, Nigeria, Democratic republic of Congo, Rwanda, South Sudan,
Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina...

Renowned Chefs, humanitarians and philanthropists participate
 to this fantastic book .
Here is a recipe of
Sausage and cabbage bake (choux farci avec de la chair à saucisses)

And also, for the different countries (communities)
you have a women who tells her story
and how she could rebuilt her  life
 with "Women for Women International".

I encourage you
 to have this book
in your kitchen
but also in your sitting room.
And if you have a daughter,
share this book with her too.
It is very touching and nice too.

Have a good week
