Good
evening,
With Christmas,
arriving so quickly, Elliot,
already on holiday, Christmas party
planned next Sunday, and leaving for France
on 18th, I spent my Sunday afternoon, in the kitchen,
cooking, the famous sausage rolls for next Sunday, but also
for Christmas. I put them in the freezer and take them out, each time
we cannot wait to enjoy them with a glass of wine, or as a main for a quick meal.
I used :
2 Jus'rol Puff sheet pastries (all butter)
4 packets of 10 Frankfurters classics (Herta)
1 - Roll the sausage inside the pastry
2 - Cut the length with the sausages rolled
3 - Then cut them into small bits
4 - -Brush with butter/milk or egg yolk to give a nice coulour to the pastry
5 - Ready to go in the oven (350 °F)
Even Elliot wanted to make his own
They need to be under-cooked to go in the freezer, just like this because on the day, you will put them back in the oven to finish cooking and eat them warm.
Leave them on a grill to cool.
Check the rest of the family to be sure, nobody is eating them ...
It is so tempting ...
YES
Simply delicious !
Children and Adults, just,
love them. And you, what are your
special
treats for Christmas ?Do you have any specific
recipes we could enjoy too ?Have a good evening !
